About FAMA MUSIC

Founded in 2017, Fama Music is Melaka’s leading Music Academy and Largest Instrument Showroom. We were the FIRST in Melaka to offer ukulele programs in kindergarten, primary and secondary schools . As demand grew, we expanded our offerings and, by 2021, became a full-fledged music academy providing lessons in piano, guitar, drums, vocals, and more. In 2023, we opened Melaka’s largest piano showroom, featuring top brands like Kawai, Yamaha, Roland— and soon after, expanded into the Biggest Music Store in the city. As the Biggest music store in Melaka, you get your best gear from our store. We’re here to help you play, learn, and grow—no matter your musical journey!

Key milestones

2017- The beginning:

Fama Music was founded with a vision to make music education more accessible and inspiring for young learners. We became the first music academy in Melaka to introduce structured Ukulele programs in kindergarten, primary & secondary schools, igniting a love for music among children and setting the foundation for our growth.

2021 – Full-Fledged Music Academy:

As our community of students grew, so did our offerings. By 2021, Fama Music had transformed into a comprehensive music academy, providing high-quality lessons in piano, guitar, drums, vocals, and more. Our unique, student-centered approach helped us build a strong reputation in Melaka’s music education scene.

2023 – Expansion & Recognition:

We marked a major milestone with the opening of Melaka’s largest piano showroom, featuring premium brands like Kawai, Yamaha, and Roland. This development positioned Fama Music not only as a leading academy but also as a trusted destination for musicians and music enthusiasts.

2024 – Fatar Hall Opening:

We launched Fatar Hall, a dedicated venue for music events, concerts, and performances, further enriching the local music community and providing a professional platform for artists.

2025 – The Biggest Music Store in Melaka:

Our growth didn’t stop there. We’ve expanded to become the largest music store in Melaka, offering a wide range of musical instruments, accessories, rentals, and professional services. Today, Fama Music stands as a one-stop center for learning, performing, and finding the right gear to fuel every musical journey.

2026 – Largest Music Fair In MELAKA

The Fama Music Fair 2026, held in April in Melaka, stood as one of the most spectacular and largest music events in the state. Across two vibrant days, the fair came alive with powerful band and choir performances, featuring over 100 students who showcased remarkable talent and passion on stage.

Renowned global brands such as Kawai, Roland, Casio, Cort, Ibanez, Fender, and Martin were proudly showcased, alongside engaging product presentations that highlighted the excellence of modern musical instruments.

Complementing the musical showcases, an art competition added a dynamic creative dimension, transforming the event into a grand celebration of both music and the arts. Altogether, the Fama Music Fair 2026 was a remarkable success—an inspiring fusion of talent, creativity, and community spirit that elevated the cultural scene of Melaka.

2026 – Persatuan Seni Ukulele Melaka (PSUM)

Persatuan Seni Ukulele Melaka (PSUM), established on 3 December 2025, began as a group of FAMA Music Melaka students with a shared passion for the ukulele. Today, it has grown into an inclusive community dedicated to promoting the ukulele and uniting people from all backgrounds through the joy of music. Ukulele Workshop For All Successfully Concluded on 16.05.2026✨

Today, approximately 100 students from various schools came together to experience the joy of music and the beauty of the ukulele 🎵

From inspiring ukulele fingerstyle performances to lively sing-along sessions, every moment was filled with passion, energy, and wonderful memories.

We hope this workshop has inspired more people to begin their musical journey and continue spreading the love of music within the community ❤️
